Marketing Manager, Creator Program

About Studyfetch

StudyFetch is a technology company building AI-native learning products: StudyFetch for students and Honen for workforce training. Together, they connect education with real-world readiness across every stage of learning.

About the Role

We're hiring a Marketing Manager to own creator recruiting and the operating systems behind StudyFetch's creator program.

Most of our growth comes from organic and paid media. We run one of the largest company-owned creator programs in the category: hundreds of creators producing short-form videos every week, briefed off an internal ideation engine, and measured against conversion targets. Growth depends on two things staying healthy. The roster has to keep expanding in the right markets with the right on-camera talent, and the machine underneath it has to keep up: recruiting, onboarding, submissions, tracking, compliance, and payouts.

You'll own creator recruiting end to end, own the systems and automations that keep the program running at volume, and manage the contractors who handle day-to-day creator communications and draft review. You are the operator who makes the program's throughput real. We use AI tools across the team and expect everyone here to use them fluently and build new ones themselves.

This is an operator role with some strategic range. You'll be trusted to build the process and work collaboratively with the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the creator recruiting pipeline end to end: sourcing, outreach, screening, evaluation, offer, contract, and onboarding
  • Hit roster headcount targets on fixed program launch dates, including cohort-based recruiting pushes during high-volume periods
  • Source on-camera talent across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, campus networks, and inbound applications, and build repeatable sourcing motions instead of one-off pushes
  • Run and improve the recruiting motions we have, and build new ones where volume demands it
  • Screen for what actually predicts performance: on-camera presence, hook instinct, output consistency, and reliability
  • Recruit against our priority markets, with a clear view of where we are investing and where we are not
  • Own the program's operating systems: submissions, view-count tracking, status flows, payout cycles, and the SOPs that hold them together
  • Manage the contractor bench that handles daily creator communications, draft approvals, scouting, and campaign building. You set the standard, review the work, and own the outcome
  • Step in directly on escalations, underperformance conversations, strike notices, and offboarding, handled cleanly and on the record
  • Run creator contracting with agreements sent out, signed, and filed before anyone starts posting
  • Keep creators inside brand and legal guardrails, including FTC disclosure requirements that are tied directly to payment eligibility
  • Own weekly reporting: creator applications in, roster growth, video submissions, views delivered, pipeline health, and progress against target
  • Feed what you're seeing on the ground back into program strategy, working closely with the Head of Paid Media on how creator output translates into subscriber growth
  • Improve the process as you go. When something breaks twice, you build tooling that stops it happening a third time

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years in creator or influencer marketing, talent management, high-volume recruiting, or creator program operations
  • An operator with strategic range. You can build and document a process, then execute it yourself at volume without being asked twice
  • Direct experience recruiting or managing dozens of creators, contractors, or freelancers at once, and keeping quality consistent across all of them
  • You build automations and internal tooling when something needs to exist, and manual processes that a tool could handle make you impatient. Vibe coding counts.
  • Comfortable using AI tools daily for sourcing, screening, outreach, briefing, and analysis. We are an AI-native company and expect our team to operate that way
  • Experience managing contractors, including setting a quality bar and holding people to it
  • Strong short-form instincts: you can tell a creator why a video underperformed and be right
  • Strong writing and communication skills. Clear, direct, human, and fast
  • Organized under real volume. You track hundreds of moving pieces without dropping any, and you're at home in spreadsheets, Slack, Asana, and CSV exports
  • Comfortable with numbers: applications to roster conversion, views delivered, cost per view, and performance by market
  • Sound judgment in hard conversations. Terminations, disputes, and disclosure violations are part of this role
  • Fluent in how Gen Z discovers and shares. You know what reads as native versus corporate on TikTok and Instagram
  • Startup pace by preference, and a strong culture fit for a small team with high output
  • Based in Los Angeles and excited to build in-office with a collaborative, fast-moving team

Nice to have: you're a creator yourself or have been, you've worked with performance-based or pay-per-view creator payouts, you've recruited internationally, or you've worked in education or a student-facing product.

  • 75% dependent coverage
