About the role

The Eddy Current Laborer / Equipment Operator supports the processing and separation of scrap metal and recyclable materials. This position is responsible for operating a forklift and front-end loader, sorting materials, maintaining product quality, and supporting efficient recycling operations. Because this position works independently during the swing shift, successful candidates are self-motivated, dependable, and able to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks.

What you'll do

• Safely operate a forklift and front-end loader to move, sort, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Sort and separate scrap metal and recyclable materials while maintaining quality standards
• Monitor material flow and assist with the preparation and shipment of processed materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support production goals and efficient material processing
• Communicate operational concerns and work effectively with supervisors and team members
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating both a forklift and front-end loader required
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to perform physical labor in an industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
• Reliable attendance and dependability
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy

• Four 10-hour shifts

Compensation Structure:

$18.00–$20.00 per hour, DOE
