Tech9

Visual Designer

The Role

We're looking for a part-time Visual Designer to take ownership of the visual production behind Tech9's marketing and internal/sales materials. This is a hands-on production and design role, not a product/UX design role — you won't be designing client software interfaces, but you will be shaping how Tech9 itself looks everywhere it shows up: social media, the website, sales collateral, and internal brand materials.

You'll work closely with Tech9's Marketing Strategy Manager, who leads GTM, events, social, and content, and will look to you to turn strategy and copy into polished, on-brand visuals. You'll also periodically support sales and leadership with proposal and presentation design, reviewed against Tech9's high visual bar.

What You'll Work On

Marketing production

  • Social media graphics, primarily for LinkedIn — post visuals, carousels, and campaign creative
  • Website content updates and supporting visual assets
  • Blog post graphics and header images
  • Event and webinar collateral — invites, slides, signage, follow-up assets
  • Email and newsletter design

Internal & sales design

  • Visual design support for client-facing proposals and pitch decks (Tech9 uses a branded, interactive HTML proposal format)
  • Templates and visual polish for recurring internal decks and reports (e.g., branded PowerPoint templates)
  • Brand consistency across internal-facing materials — templates, one-pagers, internal comms graphics

Brand stewardship

  • Maintain and evolve Tech9's visual brand guidelines as they apply to marketing and sales materials
  • Flag and help resolve inconsistencies across channels as new materials are produced

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional graphic/visual design experience, ideally including in-house or agency marketing design
  • A strong portfolio showing social content, marketing collateral, and presentation/deck design
  • Fluent in modern design tooling (Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite; comfort with PowerPoint/Google Slides design)
  • Strong typography, layout, and brand-consistency instincts — comfortable working within an established brand system and pushing it forward tastefully
  • Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable managing a queue of varied, fast-turnaround requests from multiple stakeholders
  • Professional written English sufficient for async collaboration with a US-based, distributed team
  • Based in Latin America, with working hours that reasonably overlap US business hours

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for a B2B services or tech company
  • Basic HTML/CSS familiarity (useful for interactive proposal and web-based deliverables)
  • Motion/video editing skills for social or event content — candidates with strong motion design ability are eligible for an expanded, closer-to-full-time hours allocation (up to 40 hrs/week)
  • Prior experience working part-time or fractionally across multiple stakeholders

Logistics

  • Part-time contractor engagement, ~15–20 hours/week to start; candidates who bring strong motion design skills (and interest in taking on more video/motion content) may be brought on at up to full-time (40 hrs/week)
  • Fully remote
  • Work is assigned and prioritized day-to-day by Tech9's Marketing Strategy Manager; final visual output is reviewed for brand and quality standards by Tech9's CPO

How to Apply

Please submit a portfolio (or link) highlighting marketing/social design and presentation design work, along with a brief note on your availability and hourly rate expectations.
