Job Summary

  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing and optimizing marketing programs that support TEVET’s business growth, brand awareness, customer engagement and sales objectives. This role will manage day-to-day marketing activities across digital marketing, content, social media, events, demand generation and sales enablement.
  • The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Sales, Engineering, supplier partners and other internal stakeholders to translate marketing strategy into eƯective campaigns. The role will leverage marketing automation, analytics, CRM data and approved AI-powered tools to improve campaign execution, customer targeting, content development and marketing productivity.
  • Lastly, this role will support the Director of Marketing in executing marketing initiatives for TEVET Core, LIBERTY and the Capitol Theatre of Greeneville.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing strategies and campaigns in support of TEVET’s business goals, revenue objectives and overall marketing plan.
  • Maintain TEVET brand consistency across external communications, digital platforms, social media, marketing collateral, and co-branded activities with supplier partners.
  • Coordinate TEVET’s participation in tradeshows, conferences, supplier events, webinars, and other virtual or on-site events, including pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Sales and other departments to communicate TEVET’s unique value proposition and support account-based marketing, lead generation and outbound sales initiatives.
  • Leverage HubSpot, CRM data, marketing automation tools, and other platforms to segment audiences and deliver relevant content throughout the customer journey.
  • Manage TEVET’s day-to-day social media presence, including content planning, publishing, engagement, performance analysis and optimization
  • Create and coordinate engaging marketing content including capability statements, solutions briefs email campaigns, website content, social posts, articles, video, webinars, thought leadership, and other assets.

Abilities/Skills

  • Strong understanding of B2B digital marketing, content marketing, demand generation and customer engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot.
  • Hands-on experience managing field marketing initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Working knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) methodologies and strategies.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, social media management platforms and other modern marketing technologies.
  • Ability to execute and optimize paid digital campaigns, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, retargeting, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns from planning through measurement and optimization.
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and use insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Strong copywriting, editing and content development skills for digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research and content optimization.
  • Experience managing B2B social media channels and content calendars.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative, resourceful and growth-oriented approach to marketing.
  • Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, compelling marketing messages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft OƯice Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably within a technical, industrial, technology, distribution, government contracting or similarly complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Product, executive leadership, and other cross-functional stakeholders. • Experience managing external agencies, consultants, vendors and/or strategic marketing partners.
  • Experience with OEM, channel, distribution or partner marketing strongly preferred.

Work Environment

  • This is a remote position, primarily performed Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with occasional availability outside those hours to support business needs, events, deadlines, or company initiatives. The role requires regular computer use, sitting, communicating with occasional standing and walking. Travel by car or airplane may be required for trade shows, conferences, customer and partner events and company functions. Estimated travel is around 15% or averaging once per quarter. Employees must have suƯicient visual acuity to review materials and data, occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds, and assist with trade show or event setup and teardown.
