ATTENTION CAREGIVERS- PCA/CNAs

As a caregiver with Trove Home Care, you will provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), helping clients maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence while receiving care in the familiar surroundings of home.

What You'll Do

Caregivers provide individualized support based on each client's needs and care plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Personal hygiene: Assisting clients with bathing, showering, grooming, oral care, and other hygiene needs.

• Dressing: Helping clients select appropriate clothing and assisting with dressing and undressing.

• Toileting: Providing assistance with bathroom use, personal hygiene, and incontinence care.

• Mobility and transfers: Assisting clients with walking, repositioning, and transferring between beds, chairs, and other surfaces, according to their care plans and training.

• Eating and nutrition: Preparing meals, assisting with feeding when needed, and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration

• Medication reminders: Reminding clients to take medications according to their established routine and care plan

• Companionship: Offering conversation, emotional support, and meaningful engagement throughout the day

• Light housekeeping: Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment

• Safety and observation: Monitoring clients for changes in their condition, reporting concerns to the care team, and following established safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• A compassionate, patient, and dependable individual who genuinely enjoys helping others

• Someone who respects each client's dignity, privacy, and personal preferences

• The ability to provide hands-on personal care with kindness and professionalism

• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow individualized care plans

• A commitment to maintaining client safety and reporting changes or concerns promptly

• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes

Additional Qualifications

• Must have an active driver’s license and valid car insurance
• Minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, families, and the Trove Care team
• Must pass a background check and reference screening
