Weekender Hotels is looking for an experienced, hands-on Event Chef to help bring weddings, private events, celebrations, and special gatherings to life. If you thrive in a busy kitchen, enjoy leading a team, and take pride in putting out great food, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead culinary execution for weddings, private events, and special functions
  • Prepare and execute menus with consistent quality, presentation, and timing
  • Build prep lists and organize kitchen production
  • Lead and support culinary staff during event service
  • Coordinate with Events and Front-of-House teams to keep service running smoothly
  • Maintain food quality, safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
  • Help train and support other culinary team members
  • Jump in wherever needed to make each event a success

What We're Looking For

  • Professional culinary/kitchen experience
  • Event, catering, banquet, or high-volume experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
  • Passionate about food and hospitality
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy event periods
