Harbour East Village is a well-established manufactured home community in Chester, Virginia, and we're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and making a visible impact every day.

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly alike. In this role, you'll help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our community by:

• Maintaining community grounds and common areas
• Mowing, trimming, mulching, leaf removal, and seasonal landscaping
• Assisting with snow and ice removal during winter months
• Performing light plumbing, repair, and handyman work
• Completing minor road and property repairs
• Assisting with swimming pool maintenance during the summer season
• Monitoring and maintaining wastewater facilities
• Operating a variety of maintenance and landscaping equipment
• Supporting community projects and property improvements as needed

Equipment You'll Operate

You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including:

• Backhoe
• Skid Steer
• Commercial mowers and trimmers
• Pumps and generators
• Backpack leaf blowers
• Hand and power tools

A company vehicle is provided for on-site work.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors year-round.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, maintenance, construction, or related trades
• Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs, plumbing, and general maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Occasional on-call responsibilities
• Outdoor position in all weather conditions
