About the role

The Shipping Coordinator is key to assisting the outbound operations team at the Distribution Center. As a member of the Distribution Center, the Shipping Coordinator does clerical work for the LTL department while assisting with parcel. The Shipping Coordinator plays a huge role in making sure LTL orders are packed correctly, get marked as shipped, and get customer requests for different styles of delivery.  The Shipping Coordinator works hard to hit our goals!   


The Shipping Coordinator is accountable for shipping all LTL shipments at the DC.  The Shipping Coordinator is vital in following safety goals, putting the customer first by ensuring quality and accuracy, all while helping make sure that we ship same-day!

  • Technical 
    • Netsuite
    • RF Smart
    • Microsoft Excel & Word (Google Docs/Sheets)
    • Department Knowledge (Picking/Packing in LTL & Parcel)
  • Strategic
    • Inspect and complete LTL Shipments 
    • Assist leadership members and associates at both DC and HQ
    • Assist in evaluating and improving processes within the department
  • Communication
    • Strong Written and Verbal Communication
    • Comfortable talking in front of groups of associates
    • Comfortable asking questions for clarification
  • Financial
    • Understand shipping costs through Pacejet
    • Understand processes that ensure correct shipments, with minimal errors
  • Management
    • Ensure shipping the same day through communication with the team lead
    • Assist with any issues in LTL & Parcel
    • Oversee LTL Freight Board, manage BOLs, and work with HQ Transportation Coordinator


Qualifications: degrees, certifications, experience, etc.

  • 6 Months Warehouse Experience (Required)
  • 3-6 Months of NetSuite experience (Preferred)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (preferred)
  • Experience training others on processes and equipment (preferred)


Working Environment: list location (office, onsite, etc) as well as any physical requirements of the position

  • On-site at our warehouse in Whitestown
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00 pm - overtime eligible
  • Hourly, Non-exempt
    • Wage of $22.50
  • Warehouse with fluctuating temperatures both inside and outside
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to walk continuously through the warehouse
