About the role

Position Summary: We are looking for an energetic and passionate Operations Manager who is passionate about coaching employees and wants to join our dynamic and fun-loving team. This position will be on-site in Washougal, Washington at our Stainless Cable & Railing location, but report to leadership in Plymouth, Minnesota. They will oversee the warehouse operations, which include shipping and fabrication. Our facility is looking for a progressive and experienced operations manager who will take leadership of the center's processes and growth. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse and fabrication operations to facilitate our fast growth track.
• Take a hands-on approach to creating efficiencies for center optimization.
• Develop the operating plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of operations to ensure that products conform to customer and quality standards.
• Oversee daily operations for the shipping, receiving, and inventory control departments.
• Implement corporate policy standards throughout the center.
• Partner with the VP of Operations, General Manager, and Human Resources to deploy leadership.
• Develop opportunities and introduce change management concepts to build an engaged workforce.
• Effectively manage, develop, and mentor facility staff and supervisors.
• Report key measurable/KPI’s to the corporate office on a weekly basis.
• Operating or implementation of a warehouse management system and NetSuite implementation

Qualifications 

• Embraces people management and effectively develops and mentors team members.
• 4+ years of distribution center operations experience in a 100K+ sq. ft. facility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Confident leader and effective communicator who leads by example.
• Critical thinking and sound judgment that can be effectively applied to strategy and execution.
• Problem solver who identifies issues and brings solutions to address them effectively.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Position Details:

• Full-time Position: 40-50 hours a week
• Compensation is negotiable, commensurate with experience
