The Swim Instructor conducts swim lessons for members and guests in private, semi-private, and group settings following established facility policies and procedures and ensures the safety of all participants. He or she must fully understand the aquatics program and the goals of the individuals involved in the program. In addition, the Instructor must ensure the safe and clean use of all pools and deck areas.

The ideal candidate has experience as a swim lesson instructor. Current certification as a Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor and current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are preferred. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong coaching and motivation skills. Willing to train the right candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducts swim lessons
  • Lifeguards between Lessons
  • Attends required team meetings
