About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development of applications, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and database management. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to the architecture and implementation of critical systems that power our immersive experiences. This position allows fully remote work; occasional travel to the headquarters is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance full-stack applications.
• Implement and manage complex integrations with external partners and APIs
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, other departments within the organization, external vendors, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Work with Sequelize-TypeScript for database operations and management
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve our development processes
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proven experience working with Nest.js and TypeScript in a professional setting.
• Strong proficiency in Sequelize-TypeScript for database interactions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge and experience with Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex integrations with external partners.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing and distributed systems.
• Experience building enterprise-level software.
• Experience in the insurance, financial, or high-scale consumer-facing industries.
