Position Overview
We’re seeking an accomplished and inspiring Head of Brokerage Distribution to lead a high-performing team of sales professionals and drive dynamic growth across our distribution network. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee large brokerage and aggregator relationships and ensure field sales execution, expand agent engagement, and develop scalable processes that elevate Delos’ presence and production across key markets.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing field sales team with clear performance expectations and KPIs.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain top sales talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute territory-wide sales strategies to increase agent productivity, expand market penetration, and achieve growth targets.
- Use data, market insights, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and guide decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with underwriting, operations, marketing, and product to optimize sales processes and support go-to-market initiatives.
Agent & Distribution Management
- Oversee large key agency relationships and ensure effective engagement across assigned territories.
- Ensure team members educate agents on Delos products, systems, technology, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as an executive escalation point to resolve agent or distribution-related challenges.
Process Excellence & Reporting
- Ensure accurate CRM utilization for tracking activities, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
- Implement scalable processes increasing efficiency and enhance the agent experience.
- Provide regular performance reporting, insights, and forecasting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in P&C insurance brokerage distribution, including 7+ years leading field or territory sales teams.
- Deep experience managing large agency/broker relationships in California, with a strong understanding of regional dynamics and growth levers.
- Demonstrated success in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms; experience with HubSpot is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of motivating teams and influencing partners.
- Highly strategic, data-driven, and organized, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
