About the role
We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join the India office of DESRI, i.e., DESRI India Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be a part of Design and Engineering team and will regularly interact with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. The candidate will be a part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects within a dynamic environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) activities for solar PV modules across different projects. This role requires regular interaction and coordination with external parties, which includes but is not limited to negotiating scope, reviewing, and analyzing reports, evaluating results and providing feedback, presenting summaries to internal and external stakeholders, and following up with various parties involved.
You will support various internal teams (Finance team, Project management team, and EPC team) in addressing PV module quality-related queries from Independent Engineers and other financing parties. You will also be managing the document inventory and trackers for different QAQC activities on all solar projects. One of the key responsibilities involves maintaining and updating technical exhibits pertaining to module quality for both existing and novel PV module technologies. To achieve this, you will conduct reviews of existing literature, identify novel issues related to the long-term quality of PV modules, and track revisions to different PV module-related standards on a regular basis. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders involved in different stages of solar projects, ensuring that all quality benchmarks are met and maintained.
