About the role

DESRI seeks an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Facilities Manager to oversee facilities operations across our growing national office footprint. This role will be based in New York City and will report to the Director of Business Operations. The Corporate Facilities Manager will directly manage the NYC Office Assistant and collaborate closely with local office liaisons in Denver, Houston, and Portland.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing standardized facilities protocols across all DESRI offices, managing vendor and landlord relationships, overseeing capital projects (office expansions), and ensuring a professional, safe, and well-functioning workplace environment. This individual will play a key role in creating scalable processes that support DESRI’s continued growth.


What you'll do

Facilities Operations

You will develop and implement standardized facilities protocols across DESRI’s office locations, ensuring consistency in workplace standards. This includes establishing preventative maintenance programs, creating centralized documentation and operating procedures, and improving coordination across offices to support efficient day-to-day operations.

Workplace Experience

You will help ensure a professional, consistent, and high-quality workplace environment across DESRI offices. This includes oversight of office operations including reception support, mail and package distribution, office supplies, maintaining common areas / conference rooms, and supporting meeting logistics.

Vendor & Service Coordination

You will oversee building management, cleaning services, and office service provider relationships and negotiate and manage vendor contracts across locations. This includes establishing and tracking cost controls, invoices, and performance standards to ensure smooth delivery of services.

Space Planning & Office Buildouts

You will lead office expansions, reconfigurations, and relocations as needed. Responsibilities include managing timelines and partnering with senior leadership on long-term space planning initiatives aligned with DESRI’s growth strategy.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight

You will build and manage annual facilities budgets, establish forecasting processes, track operating and capital expenditures, and improve cost transparency and reporting across all offices. This role will require strong financial discipline and the ability to identify cost optimization opportunities.

Health, Safety & Compliance

You will oversee life-safety systems and regulatory compliance requirements across office locations. This includes maintaining emergency preparedness protocols and mitigating operational and insurance risk exposure.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and approximately 7–12 years of relevant facilities management experience, preferably overseeing multi-site office environments.
  • A strong track record of managing vendor office vendor relationships, corporate office procedure creation, and administering corporate facilities budgets is required. Experience developing standardized processes and operating procedures across multiple office locations is highly preferred.
  • Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, financial acumen, well-developed communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams in a growing organization. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to operate independently while maintaining high standards are critical to success in this role.
  • Experience supporting professional services or corporate office environments is preferred.
  • The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 - $130,000, with eligibility for a target bonus of 15%.
