About the role

DESRI is seeking talented and highly motivated associates or managers (title commensurate with experience) to work on electrical, civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering project scopes. As a member of the Engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our assets and the firm’s portfolio. You’ll work with a growing team of engineers in a dynamic and agile organization, contributing to the success of renewable energy projects and the transition to a sustainable future.


What you'll do

You’ll be tasked with supporting DESRI’s Engineering team as a subject matter expert in the areas of electrical, civil, geotechnical, or structural engineering. You’ll collaborate with the Procurement and Construction teams as projects mature from preliminary early-stage development designs to issued for construction (“IFC”). This will include the commercial optimization of site grading, equipment selection, and running PV layouts and support production estimates. In this role, you’ll work with a nimble group of DESRI employees to bring projects to inception and assess design viability at every stage in a project’s life.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should have an undergraduate degree, preferably in engineering, and a minimum of four to seven years of experience.
  • A record of academic and professional achievement, well-developed communication skills, the ability to collaborate well with a small team, proven organizational acumen when working on multiple projects, and a high level of motivation are all vital to this role.
  • A demonstrated interest in and experience with renewable energy projects in the United States is preferred.
  • The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.
