About the role

DFTBA is hiring our seasonal staff!


We are looking for detail-oriented people with excellent written communication skills who can help our customers during our busiest season!  This position is a variable hour position, likely 20 hours/week during October and November and scaling up to 40-hours per week in December and possibly into January. Our core business hours are 9-5, M-F.


What you'll do

  • Sort incoming emails based on priority level and type of ticket;
  • Respond to customer service tickets via email;
  • Work with our CS and Warehouse teams to resolve issues with orders;
  • Set up order reshipment and replacements for lost or damaged orders;
  • Answer customer questions about products, shipping, and store policies;
  • All while keeping our customers happy!

  • Have excellent written communication skills!
  • Can prioritize and multitask effectively and efficiently!
  • Understand that most issues can be fixed by proactive communication!

  • Job Title: Seasonal Customer Service Representative
  • Fixed Seasonal Term: The Season is expected to run October 14 through estimated January 16, 2026 (but end date is variable and not to exceed 6-months)
  • Status: Seasonal, variable hour, non-exempt
  • Benefits Provided: Health, dental and vision insurance; paid vacation and sick time; and paid holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day)
  • Reports to: Director of Customer Service

  • Hourly Wage: $17.25
  • Ideal start date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
