Now Hiring: DGPT Technology Product Director

This is a remote (work from home) position. Some limited travel for meetings and conferences may be required.

The Disc Golf Pro Tour is seeking a Technology Product Director to lead the strategy, development, and ongoing evolution of the Tour’s core digital products, with a primary focus on the Disc Golf Network.

This role is responsible for defining what we build, why it matters, and ensuring it gets delivered across our key fan-facing touchpoints, including the Disc Golf Network, the Tour’s main website ecosystem, and other platforms. The position will work closely with DGPT leadership and external partners to improve the fan experience, drive subscriber growth and retention, and support the continued expansion of professional disc golf.

This position is expected to begin with a primary focus on the Disc Golf Network, with responsibilities expanding over time to include additional digital products as outlined below. The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience, technical fluency, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional execution in a fast-moving, live-event environment.

Position Responsibilities

In coordination with company leadership, this role will operate across two primary areas:

Disc Golf Network Product Management

This is the initial primary focus of the role. In coordination with the Tour’s Leadership Team and Media and Marketing / Communications departments, the Technology Product Director will:

  • Own and evolve the Disc Golf Network product experience across web, mobile, and other connected platforms (smart TVs, consoles, & other streaming devices).
  • Define and drive product strategy in partnership with leadership, aligning development with business goals, subscriber growth, and retention strategies.
  • Build and maintain a clear, prioritized product roadmap, balancing long-term vision with high-impact near-term improvements.
  • Analyze user behavior, feedback, and churn signals to identify opportunities and improve the full fan journey from discovery & subscription to viewing & retention.
  • Partner with design and engineering to enhance platform performance, usability, and overall user experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability across marketing, engineering, broadcast, and leadership to drive product initiatives from concept through launch.
  • Oversee product reporting and key metrics, ensuring consistent, accurate data that informs decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Broadcast Technology to align the digital product experience with live production workflows.
  • Work closely with external development partners and vendors responsible for streaming, web, and platform infrastructure.

DGPT Digital Portfolio Product Management

The Technology Product Director will also:

  • Own product direction and end-to-end development of the DGPT’s Scores, Stats, and Standings infrastructure, including management and optimization of integrations with the PDGA Live API. Serve as the product lead for this ecosystem across the Tour’s full digital footprint, ensuring accurate, reliable, and real-time data delivery across broadcast, Disc Golf Network, DGPT.com, and related platforms.
  • Serve as product and development lead for the creation and rollout of a future DGPT on-site spectator app.
  • Support product direction and assist in project management for DGPT.com, including all associated subdomains and connected websites. Collaborate closely with the existing development team and internal stakeholders, particularly within the Tour’s marketing and communications group, to prioritize improvements and ensure consistent execution
  • Contribute to the evaluation, scoping, and development of additional digital products as identified and approved. Help define requirements, guide development, and ensure successful integration into the broader DGPT product ecosystem
