Your role as Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer, you will design end-to-end experiences across a connected system where one end is member-facing and the other is provider-facing. This role spans both because the two sides are tightly coupled: what members see and do directly shapes how the service delivers care, and how the service operates directly shapes the member experience.

You will move fluidly between crafting polished front-end experiences and doing the service design work required to make complex systems usable, reliable, and scalable. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and operational stakeholders to ensure solutions are coherent across the ecosystem, handle edge cases with care, and meaningfully improve outcomes for both end users and internal teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Design across connected surfaces: Create cohesive experiences that connect member-facing interactions with internal operational workflows, ensuring the overall system makes sense end-to-end
  • Design complex workflows and service operations: Map real processes across multiple actors, then design the interactions, handoffs, and tooling that make the service run reliably in the real world
  • Drive alignment and influence: Facilitate cross-functional clarity on scope and tradeoffs, communicate your reasoning clearly, and advocate for users in high-stakes or ambiguous situations
  • Improve consistency and reuse: Contribute to shared patterns and reusable interaction models so experiences feel cohesive across products and tools
  • Validate with users and data: Use research and feedback loops (qualitative and quantitative) to ensure designs reduce effort, reduce errors, and improve throughput and satisfaction
  • Explore AI-enabled experiences: Identify where automation or AI can reduce user effort, while keeping experiences safe, transparent, and controllable

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • Senior-level product design experience: 5+ years designing digital products
  • Ability to span craft + service design: You can design great UI, and you can also zoom out to design the supporting workflows and operational model that make the UI successful
  • Strong communication and judgment: You can explain your thinking, absorb input from many stakeholders, and make principled calls about what can be simplified versus what must be preserved for safety and quality
  • Collaboration strength and resilience: Proven ability to partner effectively with Product and Engineering in fast-moving environments, navigate tough conversations, and advocate for good decisions

Assets:

  • Experience using AI tools in your own design process to improve the speed and quality of your deliverables
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated/high-trust environments (privacy, audit trails, policy-driven behavior)
  • Bilingualism (French/English) or experience designing for multilingual user groups
