Your role as Operations Excellence Specialist (Temporary)

Reporting to the Manager of Operational Excellence, the specialist’s mission is to support the continuous improvement of Dialogue’s Mental Health Care Program and Employee Assistance Program. This person will contribute to the development of key initiatives and help lead the implementation of various operational efficiency projects aimed at enhancing the experience of the care team and our members.


What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Mental Health Operations team in establishing key operational initiatives and efficiency-seeking efforts.
  • Contributing to the identification of strategies to improve and streamline operations, and helping to implement these strategies.
  • Participating in the development of business cases, implementation plans, and the execution of initiatives aligned with key objectives.
  • Providing financial, operational, and data analyses to support strategic direction and opportunity assessment.
  • Helping oversee various initiatives aimed at improving the quality of the member and care team experience.
  • Working collaboratively with our Member Experience, Member Service, Product, Technology, Go-to-market, and Finance teams to support initiatives shared across departments.
  • Eventually becoming a subject-matter expert in Mental Health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, and ensuring the ongoing accuracy of various internal program documents.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an operational excellence role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations and operational excellence.
  • Experience working with digital health or care delivery platforms is considered an asset.
  • Strong interest in operations management and/or product development.
  • Desire to learn operational and financial modeling.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic thinking and excellent operational-level problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong stakeholder management abilities.
