What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain frontend tools and backend services that enable the first platform to codify the theory of mechanical engineering.
  • Learn, adopt, and champion best practices and design patterns, helping to shape the engineering culture of our organization.
  • Own projects end-to-end, effectively communicating with leadership and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable code.
  • Work in a cloud-native tech stack: AWS, Amplify, Flask, React.
  • Collaborate with a small team of ambitious engineers to continuously experiment, review, iterate, and deliver on new product objectives.

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of software development experience building products for the web.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining web applications using React with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience developing backend applications and services in Python/Flask or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Redux or Redux Toolkit for state management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Next.js or other modern React frameworks.
  • Experience with Three.js or other web-based 3D modeling frameworks.
  • Background in manufacturing or manufacturing-adjacent industries.

Where You'll Be
  • We are building our team across two offices in Los Angeles and New York. You are welcome to choose which location!

The pay range for this role is:

130,000 - 190,000 USD per year (The Office)
