About The Role

Dispensed is seeking AHPRA-registered Medical Practitioners to consult through our telehealth platform. Practitioners work independently and retain full clinical autonomy, assessing patients who are exploring alternative treatment options.

Location: Remote, anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

Engagement: Independent contractor. Full time or part time, with flexible hours seven days a week.

What You'll Do

• Conduct telehealth consultations to assess patient suitability for alternative treatment options.
• Prescribe where clinically appropriate, based on your own assessment of each patient.
• Manage follow-up consultations and prescription renewals.
• Work with our Clinical Nursing Manager and support team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients on their treatment, including safe use and what to expect.
• Keep accurate clinical records and practice in line with Australian law and professional standards.
  
  

What You’ll Need


Essential

• Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia through Ahpra.
• Experience prescribing alternative treatments, or a genuine interest in doing so.
• An understanding of the Australian regulatory framework for these treatments, or a willingness to learn it.
• Comfort working with telehealth and digital platforms.
• Clear, professional communication with patients and the support team.

Desirable

• Previous telehealth experience.
• Familiarity with current research in this area.
