Product Manager

About DMR Technologies

DMR Technologies designs, builds, and deploys American-made drones for agriculture, public safety, and infrastructure. Headquartered in Detroit, we pair modular hardware with intuitive software to create aerial tools that solve real-world problems—from farms to emergency zones.

As a fast-growing team, we bring a big-picture mindset to every detail. We value professionalism, responsiveness, and innovation—and we’re looking for people who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a tangible impact in the field.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Product Manager who will translate user feedback into product priorities, manage cross-functional execution, and ensure our solutions remain usable, scalable, and grounded in real-world needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving practical problems, thrives in a startup environment, and wants to shape both what we build and how we build it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog, feature pipeline, and short-term roadmap in collaboration with leadership
  • Translate insights from customer feedback, field team input, and internal reviews into clear product requirements
  • Define feature scope and success metrics; track progress across cycles and releases
  • Partner with engineering and operations to ensure timely, functional delivery of new capabilities
  • Lead usability testing, product pilots, and post-launch retrospectives to refine the experience
  • Serve as the go-to resource for product questions across sales, support, and field teams
  • Support go-to-market efforts including product documentation, onboarding guides, and training enablement
  • Recommend tools, processes, or frameworks that improve product decision-making and iteration speed

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in product management or product operations—ideally in a startup, mobility, robotics, or industrial tech setting
  • Strong ability to gather requirements, prioritize tradeoffs, and keep multiple stakeholders aligned
  • Familiarity with physical products and the challenges of hardware + software integration
  • Clear, confident communication—able to work with technical teams and non-technical partners alike
  • Curiosity and empathy—someone who wants to deeply understand how customers use what we build
  • Bonus: Exposure to drones, Part 107 certification, or experience supporting field technicians and field users

What We Offer

  • A mission-driven team bringing practical drone technology to industries that need it most
  • Direct collaboration with founders, engineers, and field teams—no corporate layers
  • A supportive, fast-paced environment where your ideas and feedback matter
  • Exposure to real-world use cases in agriculture, public safety, and infrastructure
