The Marketing Operations & Performance Manager at GenVault is responsible for driving the efficiency, accuracy, and impact of the marketing function through expert management of CRM systems, marketing automation, SEO strategy, and performance analytics.

 

Job Description:

The Marketing Operations & Performance Manager is responsible for managing CRM and marketing automation systems, driving SEO strategy, executing targeted campaigns, and delivering performance insights across all channels. This cross-functional role blends technical expertise with strategic insight to optimize campaign execution, lead generation, and reporting across all channels.

 

Responsibilities:

Marketing Operations & CRM

  • Setup and maintenance of Zoho CRM and Marketing Automation, ensuring data integrity, segmentation, lead scoring, and campaign workflows.
  • Develop and manage audience segmentation strategies based on personas, industries, and lifecycle stages.
  • Maintain SalesIQ for visitor tracking, behavioral insights, and lead engagement visibility.
  • Oversee data uploads, tagging, and enrichment processes.
  • Document workflows and integrations across marketing systems to ensure scalability and clarity.

SEO Management

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Manage keyword tracking, on-page optimization, and backlink performance.
  • Monitor organic traffic trends, ranking improvements, and technical SEO health using GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
  • Align SEO efforts with content strategy to drive growth.

Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Manage audience targeting, A/B testing, and campaign QA.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure messaging consistency and timely deployment.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track campaign performance across GA4, Zoho, and ad platforms.
  • Report on key metrics including MQLs, SQLs, CPL, CTRs, conversions, and ROI.
  • Monitor traffic trends, lead flow, and budget pacing across paid and organic channels.
  • Present actionable insights and optimization recommendations to leadership.

Vendor & Project Management

  • Act as the operational liaison for external agencies (SEO, PPC, web development).
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Track vendor budgets and ensure performance aligns with ROI expectations         

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B life sciences or biotech.
  • Hands-on expertise in marketing automation, CRM systems, and data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Proficiency in Zoho CRM, Marketing Automation, SalesIQ, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads.
  • Advanced Excel or data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI).

 

Preferred:

  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop) or experience managing creative resources.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-sufficient.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across teams.
  • Comfortable presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Job Type: Full-Time/Some Travel  <10%

Work Location: West Deptford, NJ

Salary: $85k – $105k
