Job Summary:
The Technical Services Engineer will be responsible for providing expert technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Description:
As the Technical Services Engineer, you will lead on-site service interventions and contribute to knowledge-sharing and process improvement. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, preventative maintenance, managing service projects, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolves complex technical issues in machinery and systems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, lead service interventions, and oversee service projects.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, manuals, and knowledge base articles.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, partners, and internal teams, advocate for customer concerns.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of service processes, tools, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Manage the procurement process for engineering components and ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical problems.
- Drive a strong quality culture by ensuring policies, procedures and work instructions prioritize safety, and ensure that appropriate monitoring and reporting processes are in place and effective.
- Reconcile statistics and adhere to revenue management standards.
- Maintain productivity standards in relation to volume, service, and financial goals.
- Implement new policies and procedures for new compliance requirements and support evolving operations towards continual improvement.
- Support QA function in preparing for, hosting and providing follow-up for client and regulatory audits.
Education and Experience:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Have intensive field experience in Commercial Refrigeration or any related industry of at least two (2) years
- Average to Above Average Mechanical Background is preferred
- Basic understanding of Electrical circuits/components and can interpret wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with PHC and Haier Units and Electronic products would be a plus
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of HVAC
- Supply chain management and procurement experience
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to work across organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer service-oriented positions
- Proven ability to work effectively with teams
Job Type: Full-Time/Some Travel <25%
Work Location: West Deptford, NJ
Salary: $80K – $100k
