About Donum Dei Classical Academy
Donum Dei Classical Academy, a Gift of God, opened in August 2019 in San Francisco, California. Our mission is to impart a rich classical Christian curriculum full of Scriptural truth and life-giving experiences. We exist to nourish students’ hearts, souls, minds, and bodies for the purpose of growing in them knowledge, wisdom, good character, and Christ-like virtue worthy of bringing glory to our great God. The leadership team has set the foundation for a rich intellectual and spiritual culture, with excellent teachers across disciplines who are dedicated to shaping the hearts and minds of the young.
School Hours
Monday through Thursday, 8:00am-3:15pm and Friday, 8:00am-1:30pm | Extended Care until 5:30pm

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Agree with Donum Dei’s Statement of Faith and serve as a minister of the Gospel.
- Complete professional development requirements and safety training throughout the school year as applicable.
- Attend Morning Assembly (M/W/F at 8am) and Friday Staff Meetings (1:45-2:45) as applicable.
- Participate in school activities such as Parent Orientation, Back to School Night, The Greatest Gift, equipping events and fundraisers as applicable.
- Have a love for children, display a love for learning, and commit to cultivate that love for learning in students.
- Devote yourself wholeheartedly to the Lord and be in good standing with a Christian church.

Role & Responsibilities
Manage Campus-wide Operations (80%)
- Open the school in the mornings (unlock doors, turn on heating as needed, turn on lights).
- Manage the Front Office and ensure a trained staff member is in the front office at all times if you are not able to be in the office (during lunch recess or breaks, for example)
- Deliver important messages to staff members and students
- Monitor door/intercom and sign visitors in and out based on security protocols
- Direct visitors (parents/guardians, substitute teachers, prospective employees and families) to events/meetings/classrooms and introduce them to their school contact
- Support various school mailings (inquiry packets, annual all-school mailings, etc.)
- Coordinate with teachers in order to tend to sick students and notify parents as needed
- Provide administrative support to leadership team and staff
- Manage purchasing for supplies, printers, and other office and facilities needs (i.e. water dispensers, first aid supplies, staff lounge/bathroom supplies-- coffee, plates, hand soap, etc.).
- Maintain contact records and notes on vendors used for facilities
- Support facilities and building management, like greeting visitors and receiving packages
- Assist with facilities projects as needed
- Seek to create and maintain an organized and beautiful front office, staff break room, and other shared spaces around campus (school yard, garden area, rooftop area)
- Support substitutes with operational needs when they are on campus
- Support management and filing of incident reports
- Help the leadership team manage student health records and needs (e.g. first-aid, tracking allergies, etc.)
- Support Extended Care program needs
- Manage after school activities calendar and traffic flow of students in different activities
Support Campus Safety and Security (20%)
- Collaborate with leadership team to develop project management plan for facilities and security
- Collaborate with our leadership team to implement a campus security plan
- Take ownership of protocols and procedures (opening/closing building, handling injury reports, keeping playground orderly) and train teachers and staff on security best practices.
- Help ensure secure check-in for all visitors
- Help develop and train faculty and staff on overall security plan
- Ensure fire alarms and smoke detectors are operable
- Assist with emergency plans and support all emergency drills and practices
- Assist in preparing school for active shooters or other potential violators
- Involve police and fire department to visit periodically so we can learn safety plans and procedures
- Help monitor parking lot (pick up) and Precita Park areas (when students or faculty are present)
- Partner on special building projects related to security/facilities and events
- Attend and support all events to ensure operational safety and security for our facility, guests, and students
- Regularly monitor security of all entrance/exit points of school to ensure campus safety

Working Schedule
Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
- Working Schedule: including but not limited to school trimesters, required in-service days, and required professional development days.
Employment Type
Full Time Exempt - 40 hours per week

Nest Preschool Set PTO Schedule
- Set PTO: (32 days) Based on the published 25/26 Nest Calendar
San Francisco County Sick Pay
- 72 hours annually accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked.
Compensation
Compensation is an annual salary paid bimonthly with partial salary paid as tuition credit if applicable. Full benefits and employee contributed 401(k)are also available for full time employees.
