We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead our beverage program. The Bancroft is a refined, high-energy fine dining environment. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on creativity, precision, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Our bar program features elevated craft cocktails, a thoughtfully curated wine list, and a diverse beer selection.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the bar and restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staffing.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant environment.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic.
  • Exude a high level of hospitality to our guests and employees.
  • Hires, trains and develops new hourly team members.
  • Optimizes profits by building sales and assisting with the control of labor and beverage costs.
  • Provides leadership and direction to all team members - coaches in real time.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Bar Manager, with a minimum of 2 years in a fine dining environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and staffing
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant technology
  • Craft cocktail, wine and beer knowledge a must
  • Ability for stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs

The pay range for this role is:

75,000 - 90,000 USD per year (The Double Bull Taphouse)
