About the role

Join our Rapidly Growing SDR Team
We have positioned ourselves as the AI SOC Analyst leader in the AI Agent category. Currently we have 1 SDR Lead on the marketing team and are looking to grow the SDR function as we scale. To sustain and accelerate our growth in the enterprise market, we're looking for a SDR with 1-2 years of experience to join the team. The role will primarily be focused on cold outbound prospecting to our ideal customer profile, with some prospecting into marketing sourced leads.

  • You’ll be part of our marketing team, prospecting into accounts and building a strong pipeline of qualified leads for our sales team.
  • Your primary responsibilities will include targeted cold-calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and strategic outbound efforts to engage key decision-makers.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with our lead SDR and the rest of the marketing team to handle overflow leads, nurture relationships, and qualify potential opportunities. You will report to the VP of Growth while leveraging the lead SDR for your day-to-day.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the lead SDR to devise a strategy for cold outbound prospecting.
  • Once ramped up, your KPIs will be a set number of completed ICP demos along with hitting weekly engagement KPIs.
  • Qualify prospects, set meetings, and coordinate closely with Account Executives.
  • Engage proactively with prospects, clearly communicating how Dropzone AI addresses Security Operations pain points and inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate data in HubSpot CRM and track pipeline activities consistently.
  • Share prospect insights with GTM weekly to refine outreach and sales strategies

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in outbound SDR/BDR sales role.
  • Background in cybersecurity and SaaS sales preferred.
  • Experience selling AI or emerging technology products is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or similar sales engagement & CRM platform.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), able to engage technical audiences and all job function levels professionally. 
  • Detail and process oriented. 
  • Self-motivated with a positive, collaborative attitude.

Work Environment/Travel

We are a 100% remote company where you will work from your home with company-provided equipment to set you up for success. Semi-frequent travel to professional office settings and other events locally and nationally; some overnight travel expected.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range below, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Dropzone your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package, including company paid health insurance, 401K Plan, Self-Managed PTO, parental leave, and more.


The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 115,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
