About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our HR team. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role is essential to ensuring that our HR operations run smoothly and that we maintain a positive and productive work environment.

What you'll do

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide support to employees with benefits-related inquiries.
  • Maintain and update employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll data.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management for improving employee retention.
  • Assist in organizational development initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Stay current with HR trends and best practices to ensure our HR policies remain competitive and effective.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to address issues promptly and effectively.
