Job Purpose
As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our scrum teams to design beautiful and engaging interfaces that address both customer and user needs.
As part of the Product Team, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Customer-Facing Teams, and our customers to gain insights into our users, their goals and challenges. Your focus will be on providing a human-centric approach to design.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for defining design and UX best practices, ensuring we maintain a consistent, accessible, and engaging user experience through well-planned discovery activities.

Main Responsibilities
- Define and maintain design standards and best practices to ensure a unified and high-quality user experience.
- Establish and implement best practices for research and discovery activities to understand Unily’s customers and users, ensuring a human-centric approach to design.
- Analyse UX-related insights and provide expert advice to Product Managers, incorporating considerations of user behaviour, psychology, and design principles.
- Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs and prototypes, translating concepts into tangible user experiences using tools such as Figma and the Adobe product suite.
- Collaborate with multiple scrum teams, actively participating in scrum events to contribute to refinement and reviews.
- Work on cross-platform applications, ensuring consistent and optimal user experiences across mobile phones, tablets, and computers.
- Identify areas for improvement within the product and contribute to ongoing enhancement efforts.
- Keep up to date with technological innovations and industry trends to incorporate the latest advancements into design strategies.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in user research, end-to-end design process, ideation, prototyping, user testing and implementation.
- Experience working in B2B software, ideally, additionally B2C software.
- Experience leading Discovery activities focused on delivering human-centred design.
- Knowledge and a keen interest in understanding user behaviour, psychology, and design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and the ability to create user interfaces that conform to them.
- Experience designing responsive and adaptive user experiences.
- Knowledge and experience using design principles.
- Proficiency with the following tools: Figma, FigJam, Maze (or equivalent user testing software).
- Understanding of agile practices and the software development lifecycle
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Adaptability when working with, and in, existing design and UX systems.
