About the role

What you'll do

• Oversee all aspects of the company's finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.

• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.

• Ensure the integrity of financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Manage investor relations, including preparation of financial presentations, communications, and reports.

• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

• Oversee risk management activities, including insurance, investments, and contingency planning.

• Foster relationships with external partners, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

• Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record as a CFO or in a similar capacity.

• Strong understanding of financial operations, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and investor relations.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial compliance.

• High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
