About the role
What you'll do
Oversee all aspects of the company's finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
Ensure the integrity of financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Manage investor relations, including preparation of financial presentations, communications, and reports.
Lead the financial planning and analysis process, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Oversee risk management activities, including insurance, investments, and contingency planning.
Foster relationships with external partners, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record as a CFO or in a similar capacity.
Strong understanding of financial operations, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and investor relations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial compliance.
High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
