You Will Be a Strong Fit for This Role If You Have Experience…

Partner & Ecosystem Leadership

  • Building, nurturing, and expanding strategic relationships with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP)—including field sellers, alliances teams, and marketplace stakeholders.
  • Developing partner engagement motions that influence pipeline, accelerate deals, and create new footholds in target accounts.

New Market Expansion & Hunting for New Buying Centers

  • Guiding AEs to penetrate new teams, new use cases, and upmarket segments, expanding the footprint beyond initial entry points.
  • Establishing repeatable strategies for identifying new buyer personas and business units, and coaching your team to win early-stage opportunities.

Driving Adoption of New Product Lines (AI)

  • Leading your team in positioning and selling innovative or emerging product categories, ideally helping bring new offerings—such as our AI product—to market.
  • Enabling AEs to confidently articulate value propositions in nascent categories and secure early lighthouse wins.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Cultivating a culture of excellence that consistently surpasses revenue and productivity goals.
  • Setting clear expectations around revenue-driving activities, pipeline discipline, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborating closely with Marketing on targeted campaigns, in-market events, and demand-gen activities to fuel pipeline creation.
  • Designing scalable processes, KPIs, and structure for a Commercial Sales org in a high-growth environment.
  • Coaching AEs on sales strategy, deal execution, opportunity management, and long-term career planning.
  • Analyzing data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities across call volumes, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Acting as a hands-on leader, actively joining customer calls, engaging executives, and supporting strategic deals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading a high-performing SaaS or technology sales team.
  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota and strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated success managing and closing complex B2B sales cycles with C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience selling a product in an emerging category, or one with a developing brand story.
  • Prior experience working with or selling through cloud ecosystem partners strongly preferred.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Range: $120,000-$140,000 base with a possible $240,000-$280,000 OTE depending on location and level of experience.

The pay listed above is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington. The standard base pay range listed for this role may not be applicable to other locations.
