Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. In this role, your main responsibility will be to identify, develop, and close new business SaaS opportunities specifically in Manufacturing. Success in this role requires the ability to consistently gain engagement from non-user accounts and guide them through the proven Eagle Point sales process. Also in this role, you will work closely with our global network of channel partners to identify accounts to engage jointly. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with Eagle Point’s Customer Success teams on pre and post sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- New Customer Acquisition:
- Proactively engage with key personas in manufacturing to build relationships and begin our sales process.
- Proactively drive customer engagement through the sales process to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
- Collaborate with Eagle Point’s Customer Success teams to deliver impactful, compelling demonstrations and pilot projects.
- Account and Industry Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers during the sales and evaluation process, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key personas in the Manufacturing ecosystem in assigned countries.
- Sales Pipeline Management:
- Grow and maintain a robust sales pipeline leveraging Eagle Point’s proven sales process.
- Work closely with Eagle Point’s marketing team and channel partners to engage leads.
- Forecasting and reporting of customer interactions and sales cycle status in Salesforce.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales forecasts, potential risks, and opportunities to the sales leadership team.
- Product and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed on features, advantages, and benefits of Eagle Point’s solutions.
- Effectively communicate Eagle Point’s value proposition to customers and reseller partners.
- Champion impactful customer use cases with new potential clients and industry representatives.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields of study.
- Track record of quota plus achievement in new business, preferably in SAAS sales roles.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide sales initiatives within large accounts with multiple influencers and complex decision-making processes.
- Excellent influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external partner organizations.
- Highly self-motivated, naturally takes personal initiative to drive results.
- Experience with Microsoft office tools and CRM systems.
Preferred but not Required:
- Experience selling in AEC, manufacturing and/or learning management systems.
- Prior experience selling jointly with channel partners.
