Easy Dynamics is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support a high-impact Digital Transformation and Zero Trust implementation program. This role requires technical depth and strong consulting skills to help guide our client in modernizing their security posture and aligning with Zero Trust principles. The successful candidate will need an in-depth understanding of enterprise IT concepts, cloud security, FISMA compliance, digital identity, and privacy, as this piece of work must align with NIST standards and emerging Zero Trust implementation guidelines. 

 

This role will demand a high level of technical proficiency and cybersecurity expertise. The successful candidate must also be able to lead organizational change efforts to help ensure the team’s success. In your advisory capacity, you'll navigate the complexities of the client organization, leveraging change management and effective communications to enhance security practices. Key Responsibilities: 

Architectural Design: 

  • Develop and maintain a Zero Trust security architecture covering identity, device, application, and network layers. 
  • Design frameworks enforcing least privilege access and continuous authentication. 

Implementation & Integration: 

  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to deploy Zero Trust strategies across cloud 

Security Controls: 

  • Apply micro-segmentation, endpoint verification, and network access controls to prevent lateral movement. 
  • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews. 

Documentation & Compliance: 

  • Prepare and present implementation roadmap and architecture for approval 
  • Document architecture, policies, and final implementation roadmap. 
  • Ensure compliance with standards, including NIST SP 800-53. 

Cloud Data Analytics: 

  • Architect and stand up an environment in Azure to support advanced analytics and forecasting. 
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Purview for data discovery, cataloging, and lineage as well as Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Data Lake concepts 
  • Experience conducting simulations to explore capacity constraints and scheduling optimization. 
  • Improve consistency and standardization in how data is accessed and used across the organization. 
  • Approach all tasks with a DevSecOps mindset, strive to automate and innovate when possible 
  • Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to architect and organize systems and applications 

  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or comparable work experience. 
  • 10+ years in IT, with 3+ years focused on Data Analytics. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure required, AWS & GCP a plus) 
  • Experience with security tools (e.g., Okta, Zscaler, Palo Alto) a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Required: 

  • DP-203 — Azure Data Engineer Associate 

Preferred: 

  • DP-500 — Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate 
  • SC-100 — Cybersecurity Architect Expert 
  • AZ-305 — Azure Solutions Architect Expert  
  • AI-102 — Azure AI Engineer Associate 


Salary Range: $155,000-$175,000
