Responsibilities
- Make key decisions and recommendations impacting overall company controls
- Quickly identify and report schedule and cost issues
- Develop and implement project control standards and procedures
- Assign suitable personnel to support project completion
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Monitor project progress and report issues to the Project Manager
- Manage control functions for large or multiple projects
- Lead and supervise the team, ensuring safety and quality standards
- Handle staffing, performance management, and personnel development
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 or more years heavy industrial construction cost, budgeting, scheduling, and planning experience; an advanced degree is desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of diversified controls, project management systems, engineering systems, principles and practices plus proven ability, creativity and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems essential.
