Responsibilities

• Make key decisions and recommendations impacting overall company controls
• Quickly identify and report schedule and cost issues
• Develop and implement project control standards and procedures
• Assign suitable personnel to support project completion
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Monitor project progress and report issues to the Project Manager
• Manage control functions for large or multiple projects
• Lead and supervise the team, ensuring safety and quality standards
• Handle staffing, performance management, and personnel development
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 or more years heavy industrial construction cost, budgeting, scheduling, and planning experience; an advanced degree is desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of diversified controls, project management systems, engineering systems, principles and practices plus proven ability, creativity and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems essential.
