Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team at a growing lithium battery company. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring efficient communication between warehouse staff, drivers, and customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains strong attention to detail, and can effectively manage multiple priorities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of lithium battery products.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments with drivers and freight carriers.


  • Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.


  • Communicate with warehouse staff to confirm order readiness and shipment timelines.


  • Track shipments and proactively address delays or issues.


Communication & Customer Support

  • Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal teams.


  • Provide shipment updates to internal departments and customers when needed.


  • Resolve delivery or scheduling issues quickly and professionally.


Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading and freight paperwork.


  • Ensure all shipments comply with shipping regulations related to lithium batteries and hazardous materials.


  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs and transportation records.


Operational Support

  • Assist with route planning and load optimization to improve efficiency.


  • Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to support order fulfillment.


  • Identify opportunities to improve dispatch processes and logistics efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation operations preferred.


  • Experience in warehouse or shipping environments is a plus.


  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.


  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.


  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


  • Proficiency with shipping software, dispatch systems, or ERP systems is preferred.


  • Familiarity with shipping regulations for lithium batteries or hazardous materials is a plus (training may be provided).
