Edge Delta is seeking a Head of Product Marketing to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy of a next-gen observability platform that’s primed to be a disrupter in the industry. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will collaborate with the Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Growth Marketing teams to create and execute a strategy to build Edge Delta’s position as a leading player in the observability space. You will initially have one direct report and will be in a position to build out the Product Marketing team as the company grows.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Work cross-functionally to support successful product positioning and build messaging. Create compelling technical content and collateral to communicate our differentiated value to a highly technical audience.
Manage product launches and strategy in partnership with the Product Management team. Define and produce/drive supporting content including blog posts, videos, product demos, product pages, solutions pages, and webinars.
Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to identify and create campaigns across channels including paid media, organic, podcasts, webinars, thought leadership activities, events, and third-party publications.
Liaise with Customer Success and Writing teams to tell customer stories through case studies, testimonial videos, conference sessions/talks, joint webinars, and guest blog posts.
Work with Product Managers to support PLG through continued optimization of our free trial and customer onboarding experience.
Conduct competitive research and market analysis, and liaise with industry analysts.
Influence product strategy and roadmap based on customer feedback and market/industry trends.
Create internal and customer-facing Sales Enablement materials and tools, and design/lead Sales training sessions.
WHO YOU ARE:
An experienced Product Marketer or Product Manager with 7+ years of proven successful experience in the B2B SaaS industry (experience in the Observability space is a plus) and 2+ years of people management experience.
Intellectually curious with hands-on experience writing code and building applications. Familiar with software frameworks, cloud services, and DevOps practices. A degree in CS or experience working as a Software Engineer is a plus.
A skilled writer and storyteller, with published examples of professional relevant work (blog posts, product pages, case studies, videos, etc.) to share.
Comfortable conducting highly technical interviews with engineers, product managers, customers, and C-suite executives.
Comfortable presenting technical content live/on stage to developer and executive audiences.
