About the Role

Join Ediphi as a Solutions Engineer - a role that bridges preconstruction expertise and software know-how to transform how GCs and design firms collaborate.

As a core member of our go-to-market engine, you'll drive sales cycles by delivering live demos and workshops that are equal parts insightful, credible, and values-driven. You’ll serve as a trusted voice for Ediphi - showing prospects why transparent, collaborative, innovative, and empowering preconstruction tools are more than just ideas - they’re game changers.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Account Executives to deliver tailored demos and proof-of-concepts, rooted in customer workflows and moving them into the future of preconstruction.
  • Build trust through transparency, clearly mapping how Ediphi solves real problems - no smoke, no mirrors.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Product, Engineering) to refine demos, surface customer needs, and drive innovation.
  • Translate complex preconstruction data into clear “aha” moments for estimators, project managers, and executives - empowering them to make data-driven decisions.
  • Support strategic workshops and technical evaluations, always grounding them in collaboration and real-world scenarios.
  • Influence the product roadmap by conveying customer feedback and emerging trends with both humility and curiosity.

What You Bring

  • Either:
    • 3–7+ years of experience in preconstruction/estimating or cost consulting at a GC, CM, or cost consultancy

AND/OR

  • 3–7+ years of experience in SaaS presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting
  • Strong communication skills - able to present clearly to executives, estimators, and project teams.
  • High proficiency in Excel - comfortable building, analyzing, and presenting data models.
  • Tech fluency - comfortable learning, demoing, and explaining SaaS platforms.
  • Collaborative mindset - thrives working across Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Bonus:

  • Combination of both preconstruction and SaaS presales experience.
  • Familiarity with estimating tools like Destini, OST, ProEst, WinEst, Sage, Innovaya, or similar.
  • Background in running customer-facing demos, RFPs, or workshops.
  • Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or other analytics/reporting tools.
  • Exposure to Target Value Design (TVD), conceptual estimating, or design-assist workflows.
  • Experience with project controls or construction management software (Procore, BuildingConnected, CMiC, etc.).
  • Public speaking or training experience - comfortable leading workshops and executive presentations.
  • Light technical background (SQL, database mapping, or APIs) to build quick proofs of concept.
