Mechanics provide high-quality vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs. The mechanic may work independently or in a team environment.

What You Will Do:

• Perform Vehicle Maintenance: change oil, oil filter, and fuel filter; transmission flush; and inspection of the vehicle for mechanical deficiencies, which may include motor transmission replacements.
• Based upon certification levels, perform various repairs and maintenance, which may include:
• • Mount and balance tires
  • Replace bulbs/fuse as needed to complete functionality of the associated system
  • Replace drive belts
  • Brake repairs on disc brake systems and conventional drum brakes
  • Coolant system repairs
  • A/C leak test/evacuate and recharge
  • Diagnosis and repair of OBD II systems
  • Brake components, tires, tune-ups, and suspension components
  • Electrical systems
  • State Safety Inspections
  • Interior/exterior components
  • Engine and driveline components
  • Advanced diagnostics
  • Engine and driveline diagnosis
  • Parts replacement and some fabrication
• Maintain the assigned work area and ensure the shop is clean and tidy at all times
• Perform all assigned work in a safe and conscientious manner
• Handle and dispose of all fluids as defined by MSDS and in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records as defined/directed by management
• Assure prompt repairs by interfacing and coordinating with vendors for parts and repairs

What You Will Need:

• 2 years of relevant experience; education in Automotive Technology may be substituted in lieu of experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE Certification desired
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles
• Ability to follow safety instructions and directions
• Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment
• Excellent listening, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Self-motivated, independent, and reliable, with a strong work ethic
• Will need to stand, walk, and reach throughout the day around vehicles
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $18.83 - $22.60, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
