Digital Media Intern

The duty of our Digital Media Intern is to support SEO, Digital Advertising and Analytics initiatives across a multitude of client accounts. You’ll assist with local SEO updates, paid media campaign execution, performance reporting and more, all while collaborating closely with strategists to ensure high-quality work is done to deadline. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning and adapting in a fast-paced digital environment. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across many facets of the digital marketing world, making this a valuable opportunity for those looking to grow in the field.


Candidates must be enrolled in a registered co-op program (or equivalent) at a Canadian post-secondary institution and available to work 40 hours per week. We will be flexible on your start date and end date based on the work period required by your post-secondary institution. This is a remote role.


Compensation: $18.00/hour


What You Will Do:

  • Execute a wide variety of supportive SEO & Digital Advertising Tasks: You will be in charge of supporting both the SEO and Digital Advertising departments with a number of task work demands, from Google Business Profile management and updating, to the implementation of paid media campaigns, to the contribution of elements for monthly reporting, and beyond. The responsibilities will be sprawling but focused on crucial responsibilities needed to bolster day-to-day, week-to-week and month-to-month client requests.
  • Display expert time management & commitment to deadlines: Because of the variety of tasks across departments, and our commitment to high quality work and expediency for our clients, being able to effectively manage your time across each working day, ensuring you’re properly prioritizing tasks, getting them done on time, and to a high standard, is especially of importance for this role.
  • Collaboration with team members: As this position works to support the strategists across our Digital Media team, who are managing a multitude of dealership clients, and said required tasks, you must be amenable to direction and open cooperation with team members to follow instructions, and to complete work to the eye of the client.

What You Will Need:

  • Avid passion and willingness to learn across SEO, Digital Advertising & Analytics fields
  • Knowledge of a variety of ad-serving platforms, including Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager (proficiency an asset)
  • Experience with GA4 & Google Search Console (proficiency an asset)
  • Some occasional travel for events or training (where applicable)
