About the Role
The Rev Ops Systems & Strategy Specialist, is responsible for overseeing the revenue operations technical strategy to intelligently drive forward all revenue activities to increase profitability and ensure all financial objectives are met. This role plays a critical role on the Eleanor Health Revenue Operations Team in driving the organization’s financial performance, as well as leading the Revenue Cycle’s technology strategy.
What You'll Do
- Develop the technology roadmap for Revenue Cycle, identifying opportunities to better leverage technology and automation to fill and eliminate process gaps and promote efficiencies
- Collaborate with IT and clinical operations to optimize EHR and practice management systems for revenue cycle efficiency
- Manage vendor relationships and drive accountability and performance while identifying opportunities for internal and external performance improvement
- Define strategic objectives, work closely with internal stakeholders and revenue cycle business partners to evaluate and analyze existing systems and processes, and implement improvements that support revenue cycle goals.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve revenue cycle performance, reduce denials, and enhance cash flow
- Partner and collaborate with Finance, Clinical Operations, and Payer Contracting teams
- Due Diligence and Assessment: develop and implement standardized protocols for integrating new businesses, acquisitions, and initiatives into the revenue cycle
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Vice President of Revenue Strategy and other senior leaders on Revenue Cycle performance and outcomes
- Create high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue management and/or Technical Support
- Knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, authorizations, billing process and workflow
- Basic knowledge of EHR programs, Medical Terminology, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes and coding processes (Required). Strong understanding and comfort level with computer systems and experience with process improvement methodologies
- Proven understanding of Value Based Care and Fee For Service contract models
- Proven technical and vendor relationship management experience
- System implementation/project management experience
Preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue management and/or Technical Support

Compensation & Benefits
The total target annual compensation range for this position is $65-70,000. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
