Position Summary

We’re therefore looking for an exceptional Sales Operations Director—a systems thinker, data whisperer, process builder, and performance optimizer in one.

This role is not for the faint-hearted or the fans of legacy thinking.

It’s for the high-output operator who gets their high from streamlining the backend, boosting sales team efficiency, and crushing inefficiencies before they metastasize.


At elev8, Sales Ops isn’t just a supporting function. It’s the nerve center that connects people, process, tech, and performance. You’ll build out the sales ops framework from the ground up—or burn down what doesn’t work.

Key Responsibilities - What You'll Do!


Build the Machine

  • Co-architect, implement, and optimize core sales processes (from lead sourcing to new client & sales rep onboarding).
  • Define and document workflows across the entire sales motion—zero ambiguity.
  • Own the CRM. You’ll configure it, automate it, clean it, and get reps to actually use it.
  • Champion ABD -Always Be Documenting. If it’s not in our ‘Sales Playbook’ or ClickUp, it doesn’t exist.

    Drive Performance
  • Build and maintain dashboards that support leadership and that salespeople actually use daily.
  • Set the standard for forecasting accuracy (no sandbagging allowed) since our ‘Hiring Forecast’ & success with onboarding highly depends on this being within 90% accuracy.
  • Own performance analytics: conversion rates, pipeline velocity, win/loss reasons, ARPA, churn, LTV—you live in the numbers.
  • Collaborate with Leadership and Finance on comp plans, quotas, and commission tracking.

    Supercharge the Stack
  • Audit, design, and continuously evolve our sales tech stack—CRM, enablement tools, reporting tools, proposal platforms, dialers, enrichment, scheduling, you name it.
  • Ensure tools are integrated and reps aren’t toggling between 20 tabs to close a deal.
  • Automate the boring stuff with AI whenever possible and double down on  what drives sales velocity.

    Be the Strategist
  • Partner with Leadership and Marketing Ops to align on annual GTM planning and sales capacity modeling.
  • Develop playbooks for channel expansion, new market entries, or vertical scaling.
  • Influence product and marketing decisions through data-driven insights.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations roles, preferably at high-growth B2B Marketing or tech companies.
  • Proven track record building and scaling a Sales Ops function.
  • Deep CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
  • Prior experience managing tools like Salesforce, Outreach.io, Instantly.ai, Klay, ClickUp and  ZeroBounce. 
  • Comfort working in a startup or scaleup environment (i.e. ambiguity, autonomy, endless opportunities, daily challenges and high-pace).
