Position Summary


elev8.io is changing the game for Behavioral Health companies, committed to helping our clients close the gap between the millions suffering from addiction or mental health problems. We are growing rapidly and therefore seeking a high-impact SEO Director to oversee our SEO department, drive innovation, and ensure seamless collaboration with other departments.


Key Responsibilities


Performance & Strategy

  • Develop and execute high-performing SEO strategies for both clients and elev8.io.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize organic search performance using data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate closely with Web, PPC, Client Success, and Sales teams to align SEO with business goals.

Product Innovation

  • Research, experiment and evolve elev8’s SEO solutions to ensure #1 market position.
  • Stay ahead of algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging AI-driven SEO solutions.
  • Develop and implement new SEO techniques, automation tools, and scalable frameworks.

Client Success

  • Lead the communication with VIP clients and partners as needed to secure CSAT and mitigate churn. 
  • Develop custom SEO roadmaps tailored to each client’s unique needs and industry challenges.
  • Provide clear, data-backed SEO reports and performance updates to stakeholders.

Team & Scalability

  • Oversee hiring & training initiatives to fuel talent development and drive growth while maintaining high quality. 
  • Develop processes, SOPs, and quality control measures to ensure high execution standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by keeping the team updated on SEO trends.

Profitability & Growth

  • Optimize systems, processes, and automation to increase margins and overall profitability.
  • Optimize resource allocation to balance quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives to expand revenue from existing clients.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Revenue Growth - Increase in revenue generated from SEO services.
  • Client Retention - Percentage of clients who continue to use e8’s SEO services.
  • Profit Margin - Sustain targeted profit margin for product/margin.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of scaling SEO strategies and leading high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, link-building, and automation.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Strong analytical mindset – ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency with medium-market clients.

Compensation and Growth Potential:
