What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Senior Consultant with demonstrated experience leading and supporting large projects in public and private sector organizations. You have experience in general consulting services, including change management, planning, facilitation, and project management at a minimum. Additional experience in procurement, evaluation, communications, and other disciplines is considered an asset.
We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated experience and education in the following areas:
- Change Management Expertise: A deep understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks, with the ability to apply them to complex organizational challenges. This includes skills in client and partner management, communications planning, and project management.
- Project Management: Providing oversight on multiple projects, including managing sub-projects or various delivery components (e.g., service design, governance, operations, customer service) in alignment with project management standards.
- Client Partnership: Collaborating closely with clients to define project goals, objectives, and outcomes that align with the organization’s strategic direction.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with both internal and external clients to achieve project objectives and foster long-term collaboration.
- Resource Planning: Assessing and determining the appropriate resourcing levels necessary to successfully deliver projects.
- Communication Skills: Exhibiting strong written and verbal communication abilities that are clear, concise, and adapted to different audiences.
- Facilitation & Presentations: Creating and delivering effective presentations, leveraging your experience in facilitation and group facilitation techniques.
- Team Leadership: Leading project teams by delegating tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables, balancing team workloads, and mentoring junior members for their professional development.
- Service Design Knowledge: Practical experience with service design principles.
- Leadership in Large-Scale Projects: Experience in leading major projects of significant scale and complexity, overseeing multiple delivery components.
- Executive Collaboration: Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with executives, driving organizational change throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coaching & Development: Leading and coaching multi-disciplinary senior professionals and/or managers in the development and implementation of complex projects.
- Business & Budget Management: Proficiency in business planning, contract management and application to the project, project budget oversight, and negotiations.
- Digital Transformation: Experience leading change management initiatives in complex digital transformations is highly desirable.
- Public Engagement & Sector Experience: Experience in public engagement and in the public sector is a significant asset.
- Driving New Business: All our staff are expected to be actively engaged in business development, so an understanding and experience with nurturing and landing new business. This includes having some exposure to responding to procurement vehicles like RFP’s and RFQ’s.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
