Position Summary

The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) is a clinically led role embedded full-time within the Public Safety Triangle Team.  Training and education are critical to the success of LifeFlow and our customers. The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) has primary responsibility for educating LifeFlow users, potential users, employees and partners. During education, the positive relationships that the CES develops with providers will also play a key role in standardizing and expanding LifeFlow use. Training will require significant travel and cover multiple shifts, including some nights and weekends. Based on the travel requirements of this role, the ideal candidate will be based near a major airport on the East Coast of the United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct LifeFlow training for civilian and military prehospital providers (i.e. paramedics, firefighters, corpsmen, combat medics, physicians) at LifeFlow accounts, delivering consistent, high-quality training using established materials and protocols.
  • Customize training approaches based on account-specific needs, culture, and clinical workflows to maximize learning outcomes.
  • Conduct LifeFlow training and other LifeFlow-related onboarding for 410 employees, consultants, and distributors.
  • Identify classes, labs, clinical instructors, and simulation centers to get LifeFlow into and educate on device and volume resuscitation.
  • Log all customer-facing activity in HubSpot: in-person visits, training sessions, calls, virtual meetings, emails, and demos.
  • Timely and complete documentation of details related to education, user and potential user interactions, and feedback for CRM.
  • Proactively communicate with territory team on scheduling, account feedback, and challenges or roadblocks that need to be addressed for an account to actively use LifeFlow.
  • Work closely with Director of Public Safety and Clinical Sales Specialists to expand LifeFlow awareness, proficiency, and utilization in targeted accounts to drive standardization.
  • Align on account priorities, scheduling, call plans, and field activity.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with Super-Users and practice influencers across accounts to build champions for LifeFlow adoption.
  • Provide meaningful insights to the sales team about potential users, barriers to standardization, account readiness, and expansion opportunities.
  • Expand education and awareness in target accounts by identifying and building relationships with practice influencers across the account.

What You Bring

  • Paramedic or Registered Nurse with flight or prehospital experience required
  • 5+ years clinical experience in a high volume, ALS level 911 system or flight program. Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the prehospital setting and navigating fire and EMS agencies
  • Excellent clinical educator; 2+ years clinical education experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills; ability to convey ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop positive relationships with new people

  • Detail-oriented, including planning and record keeping

Additional Details

  • Travel required (up to 75%); some weekend and evening work possible
  • Must meet facility credentialing requirements, including required vaccines
  • Maintain professional and clinical continuing education, licensure, and credentials
  • Ability to carry a ~25 lb detail bag and stand/walk in hospital settings for 6–10 hours per day
