Aerospike, Inc.

Field Marketing Manager, APAC

About the job

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and high-performing Field Marketing Manager to drive pipeline and revenue across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in India, you will own regional field strategy and execution, and you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-market environment where every program is expected to earn its place in the pipeline.

We sell to the elite engineers and technology leaders architecting demanding, real-time systems, and your mission is to put Aerospike in front of them before our competitors do. You won't just run events; you will build integrated, account-based programs that connect with regional Sales, BDRs, and Partners, and you will be accountable for turning attention into qualified pipeline and closed revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Regional Field Strategy: Build and execute an annual and quarterly APAC field marketing plan aligned to global campaign themes, regional sales priorities, and target account lists. You will work hand-in-hand with regional Account Executives, Sales Leadership, and BDRs on territory planning, account prioritization, and program design, running regular syncs to keep marketing and sales aligned on the same accounts.
  • Plan and Execute High-Impact Events: Deliver a portfolio of in-person and virtual programs, including executive roundtables, customer dinners, webinars, and partner-led events across India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. You manage the full lifecycle: business case, budget, vendor and venue selection, logistics, speaker and content coordination, on-site execution, and post-event reporting.
  • Drive Account-Based Programs: Partner with Demand Generation and Sales to design targeted, multi-touch ABM plays for priority accounts in industries such as financial services, fintech and payments, telecommunications, e-commerce, and digital-native businesses. Orchestrate integrated campaigns that combine events, digital, direct outreach, and content to open doors with the full buying committee, from lead engineers to C-level executives.
  • Convert Engagement into Pipeline: Work with BDRs and AEs to ensure rigorous, timely follow-up on every event lead, with clear handoffs, SLAs, and feedback loops. Make sure no opportunity slips through the cracks and that attribution is captured accurately in Salesforce.
  • Govern Budget and Measure ROI: Manage the APAC field budget with discipline. Use one-page event proposals, pre-defined success criteria, and post-event scorecards to decide what to scale, fix, or stop. Report on pipeline sourced and influenced, cost per opportunity, and return on investment.
  • Collaborate Across Partners and Channels: Work with cloud, technology, and SI partners and regional channel partners to co-market and co-host programs that extend Aerospike's reach across the region.
  • Localize with Judgment: Adapt global messaging, content, and campaign assets for the diverse markets, languages, and business cultures of APAC, and ensure every program complies with local data privacy, anti-bribery, and hospitality regulations.
  • Drive Market Intelligence: Share insights from the field with Product Marketing, Product, and Sales Leadership on messaging effectiveness, competitive dynamics, customer objections, and emerging trends in the APAC market.
  • Manage Vendors and Contracts: Source and manage regional agencies for attendee acquisition, event co-hosting, and onsite support. Ensure contracts and outcomes for each vendor is set and reported on accordingly.

Who You Are

  • Proven Field Marketer: 5+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation experience, ideally in B2B enterprise software, with a track record of delivering measurable pipeline in the APAC region. Experience in database, data infrastructure, cloud, or developer tools is critical.
  • Strategic and Hands-On: You can build a regional plan and also run the event yourself. You are as comfortable negotiating with a venue as you are presenting a pipeline forecast to Sales Leadership.
  • Account-Based Thinker: You understand how to build programs around named accounts and buying committees, and you can work with Sales to prioritize where marketing effort will matter most.
  • Financially Disciplined: You manage budgets rigorously, build clear business cases, and are not afraid to cut programs that do not perform.
  • AI-Augmented Operator: You actively use generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to research accounts, draft content, analyze results, and work faster and smarter.
  • Credible with Technical Audiences: You can engage with engineers, architects, and technology executives, and you understand what makes a technical event worth attending.
  • Exceptional Collaborator: You build trust quickly with Sales, BDRs, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Partners across time zones and cultures. You communicate clearly, follow through, and are comfortable working with a global team, including regular overlap with US and EMEA colleagues.
  • Practical Requirements: Based in India with the ability to travel across APAC. Fluency in English is required; additional Asian languages (for example Japanese, Mandarin, or Bahasa) are a plus.
