About the Daniels Fund
The Daniels Fund, established by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, is a private charitable foundation dedicated to making life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming through its grants program, scholarship program, and ethics initiative.
The Daniels Fund strives to ensure its work reflects Bill Daniels’ written directives, values, and unmistakable style. Bill was a patriotic American who served our country in two wars. He was a capitalist who loved our free enterprise system and was well known for his generosity to people from all walks of life. Guided by his compassion, Bill transferred his $1 billion estate to form the assets of the Daniels Fund to carry forward his legacy of giving.
Since its founding, the Daniels Fund has become a permanent fixture in the communities it serves and continues to make significant and lasting impact. The Daniels Fund has been named one of the “Best Places to Work” by the Denver Business Journal and Inc. Magazine reflecting its dedication to creating an atmosphere where associates thrive, grow, and contribute in a meaningful way.

You are highly organized and detail-driven. You thrive on turning plans into flawless execution, tracking many moving pieces at once without losing accuracy. You are determined to meet deadlines and adjust quickly to changing priorities or last-minute challenges.
You are process- and systems-minded, and energized by finding a better way. You see a clunky workflow as an opportunity rather than an annoyance, and you get real satisfaction from fixing it. You are comfortable learning and administering technology platforms and you look for ways to make workflows more accurate, efficient, and repeatable.
You demonstrate a high level of excellence. Bill Daniels set a high bar for how things are done, and you hold that bar whether or not anyone is watching. You always represent yourself and your organization in a professional and competent manner. You pay close attention to detail and hold yourself to a high standard of accuracy in everything from expense tracking to database records.
You bring genuine hospitality. You look for the small, intentional moments that make an experience memorable, and you build them in on purpose rather than hoping they happen. You care as much about how the work gets done as whether it gets done.
You handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment. You bring the professionalism, polish, and confidentiality expected when supporting senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders.
You are agile and stay calm under pressure. You have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and transition effectively from one to another quickly. You handle surprises and high-stakes moments with calm and confidence.
You are an excellent communicator and collaborator. You use clear and concise language that reflects the context in which you are communicating. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, whether working one-on-one or coordinating across teams.
