We believe that access to innovative and alternative therapies can transform lives. Through our telehealth platform, we facilitate patient access to affordable, efficient, and reliable alternative medicine services across Australia, NZ and the UK.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Doctor Support Nurse to join our medical operations team and help strengthen the connection between doctors, pharmacies and patients. This role exists to ensure doctor activity is monitored closely, patients are followed up in a timely and compliant way and operational issues are resolved quickly. By doing so, you’ll directly impact patient safety, satisfaction and overall care.
You’ll work closely with doctors, pharmacy partners and internal nursing and operations teams. As the first point of contact for operational support, you’ll help reduce bottlenecks, improve communication and ensure patients receive the care and clarity they need. This is a role that combines clinical insight, problem-solving and operational precision.
What You'll Own
- Monitor and maintain accuracy across doctor portals, ensuring follow-ups are actioned and patients are contacted where required.
- Oversee and triage clinical support Slack channels, escalating issues appropriately to the right team or individual.
- Act as the pharmacy liaison for escalations, particularly following prescription ineligibility, ensuring patients are contacted and outcomes are documented.
- Provide direct operational support to doctors, resolving or redirecting basic issues to the right channels.
- Manage tasks related to ineligible patient follow-up and post-prescription discharges, including monitoring callback spreadsheets and ensuring timely communication.
What You’ll Need
- Current nursing qualification and registration.
- Experience in telehealth, clinical administration or patient support (experience in alternative medicine is a bonus, not a requirement).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing patients, documentation, and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with doctors, pharmacies and patients.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
How Success Is Measured
- Accuracy of doctor portals – only eligible patients remain in review tabs, with clear documentation of follow-up attempts.
- Timeliness of follow-ups – ineligible patients are contacted within set timeframes and their outcomes are clearly recorded.
- Escalation handling – pharmacy and doctor operational issues are resolved quickly and effectively, reducing patient delays.
- Patient experience & safety – improved clarity, smoother transitions, and fewer patients left waiting in portals.
