DevOps Engineer

Our Mission:

“Help retail & service companies streamline and GROW their business.”

Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer ready to improve how software is built, deployed, and supported? Step into a role where cloud infrastructure, automation, and problem-solving come together to strengthen a growing engineering organization. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining scalable cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, and operational tools using technologies such as AWS, Cloudflare, PostgreSQL, and AI-assisted engineering solutions. You’ll partner closely with Engineering and QA to improve reliability, streamline releases, and create a more efficient software delivery process.

We’re a growing software company based in Vancouver, WA, proudly delivering the leading business management software in the Pool, Hot Tub, and Hearth industries. For years, we’ve helped businesses streamline operations, improve efficiency, and grow through innovative cloud-based solutions. As our platform and customer base continue to expand, we remain focused on building modern, scalable technology that drives the future of the industries we serve.

Here’s a snapshot of what we want you to do:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to improve the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of our engineering organization. This role partners closely with Engineering, QA, and Product to build and maintain the systems, automation, cloud infrastructure, and tooling that enable teams to deliver software consistently and efficiently.

The DevOps Engineer focuses on improving release processes, infrastructure automation, cloud platform management, observability, and operational resilience. The ideal candidate has practical experience administering and automating modern cloud environments (AWS, Cloudflare, or similar) and understands how cloud services integrate into the software delivery lifecycle.

Rather than owning product features, this role creates leverage across the engineering organization by reducing operational overhead, standardizing processes, and improving deployment reliability.

Here’s the stuff we expect you to be doing day to day:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment consistency across applications.
  • Standardize deployment, configuration, dependency management, and release processes to improve reliability and repeatability.
  • Design and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform health, performance, availability, and operational visibility.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure, deployment, application performance, dependency, and platform lifecycle issues, including technology deprecations and version upgrades.
  • Ensure platform infrastructure, deployments, and engineering processes adhere to security best practices and organizational standards.
  • Support production systems, troubleshoot operational issues, and participate in incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and QA to improve software delivery, release management, developer productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with internal and external development teams to improve application scalability, deployment readiness, and operational excellence.
  • Research, develop, and implement automation and AI-assisted engineering workflows that improve team efficiency.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployments, operational procedures, and platform standards.
  • Identify operational risks, reduce key-person dependencies, and improve platform resiliency through automation and standardization.
  • Establish and promote best practices for platform engineering, cloud operations, automation, and software delivery.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, scalable infrastructure code, automation scripts, and platform solutions.
  • Assist with planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades, platform improvements, and engineering initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the engineering platform to support future growth, scalability, and business objectives.
