At Good Samaritan Hospice, we consider it a sacred honor to walk with individuals and families through the end-of-life and grief journey. We are seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled, and relationship-focused Registered Nurse to join our team as an RN Clinical Liaison.
As a Clinical Liaison, you are often the first introduction a patient and family have to hospice and palliative care. You will use your clinical expertise, communication skills, and compassion to help patients and families understand their options and connect them with the care that best meets their needs.
This is a unique opportunity for an RN who enjoys both clinical care and building meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners. You’ll work closely with hospital teams, discharge planners, physicians, patients, families, and Good Samaritan’s interdisciplinary team to make access to hospice care as seamless and supportive as possible.
If you are looking for a role where your nursing knowledge, communication skills, and ability to build trust can make a meaningful difference every day, this may be the perfect fit.
Your work has deep meaning. You’ll help patients and families understand hospice and palliative care during some of the most important and vulnerable moments of their lives.
You’ll build relationships that matter. Develop meaningful partnerships with physicians, discharge planners, nurses, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals to improve access to hospice care.
You’ll use your clinical expertise in a new way. Assess hospice eligibility, support admissions, provide education, and serve as a clinical resource to healthcare professionals and referral partners.
You’ll have variety in your day. This role blends clinical assessment, education, relationship-building, admissions, community outreach, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
You’ll be part of a mission-driven team. Join a compassionate group that believes every moment of the hospice journey matters.
Schedule: M-F 8:30a-5p with occasional evenings and weekends. This position requires daily travel throughout the Good Samaritan Hospice service area and primarily works in hospitals and long-term care facilities.
Benefits: 21 days of PTO in your first year, $.65 per mile mileage reimbursement, company-paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance, medical through an ICHRA model offering multiple plan choices, and 401(k) with company match (100% match on the first 3%, 50% match on the next 1%).
If you are a clinically skilled RN who thrives on connection, collaboration, and meaningful conversations, we would love to hear from you.
At Good Samaritan, you will have the opportunity to use your nursing expertise to help patients and families find the right care at the right time, while building relationships that strengthen hospice care throughout our community.
