We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team. This role is designed for a highly experienced marketing leader who can translate insights, ideas, and business objectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies that drive growth.


The ideal candidate is both a strong listener and a visionary thinker—someone who can synthesize what we know about our business, customers, and market into compelling marketing initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our brand(s), expanding beyond traditional paid advertising, and building scalable marketing systems that support long-term success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Translate business insights and leadership input into clear, effective marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Build and execute integrated marketing campaigns beyond paid advertising and PPC, including organic, content, brand, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Lead the development and evolution of one or more company brands, including positioning, messaging, and identity.
  • Partner closely with the CEO to align marketing initiatives with overall company vision and objectives.
  • Establish and optimize marketing processes, tools, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency and ROI.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role (CMO, VP of Marketing, or equivalent).
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn ideas and insights into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated success in building brands and executing multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in a fractional or consulting capacity is preferred.

 

Location Consideration:

The position is remote. While candidates based in Southern California are preferred, we will also consider applicants located within the Pacific or Central Time Zones.
